    There is a scene in the movie They Might Be Giants (1971 George C. Scott and Joanne Woodward) which is set in New York, by the way. Where in the hunt, they stumble across an elderly couple living in a rooftop conservancy-its beautiful, and like the entire movie, has that air of magical realism. This place reminds me of that scene.
